Thank you for visiting Jacob and Catherine Colella’s Registry Blog! Instead of the traditional registries, we have decided to only register at Target and Nomad Ventures. The reasons are these: we already have a well-stocked home and require few items to complete our household needs. We do need, however, quite a few technical pieces of gear for our honeymoon adventure: The John Muir Trail!

In this blog you will find a list of items that are crucial to the success of our 200+ mile honeymoon hike in the mountains! All of these items can be found or ordered through Nomad Ventures, the little gear shop at which I work.

Before you run off and spend unnecessary amounts of money, please consider this: I can order any of these items at my “pro-purchase” price. Due to policy, however, you cannot buy these items for me at my pro-price. So, if you would like to put money toward an item you will have to go to a Nomad Ventures location (see Nomad Ventures webpage), buy a gift certificate for “Jacob or Catherine Colella,” and then possibly make a note of what you want that money to go toward, or something along those lines.

I know many of you would rather have a physical item to wrap up and bring to the wedding, but please know that Jacob and I appreciate gift certificates, cash, or checks just as much physical gifts!

Directly below are pictures and descriptions of the things we will need for the JMT.

On the right-hand side of the blog is a link to our Target Registry if you would like to look at that. We would also greatly appreciate gift cards to Home Depot, Lowe’s (for our home and yard projects, which are numerous!!), and Trader Joe’s (for buying food stuffs for our JMT trip).
